Quingo night

Thank you to all who attended the Quingo evening. A good night was had by all and we raised over £600 for Village Hall funds, which will be put towards some new flooring in the Annexe and kitchen.
We are hoping to hold another Quingo evening in October.
PANTOMIME 2026
The members of the Cookridge Amateur Dramatic Society (CADS), were delighted with the reception given to their latest production which was a panto written by one of their own members! “The Little Mermaid” written by group member, Jenny Heald, was presented over the schools’ February half-term holiday, with three matinees and two evening performances.
All five performances were successful with two of them nearly sold out! The panto cast was larger again this year, with more youngsters taking part this time. All the above was excellent news in what is the group’s 71st year of entertaining audiences in Cookridge. This has been another successful, traditional panto production at Cookridge Village Hall, helping CADS keep up the local proud tradition of panto performances in Cookridge. It was presented successfully over all five performances by the hardworking members and friends of CADS!
Now that the panto week is over, the CADS members do not stand idle for long! This week members will hold a planning meeting to reflect on the panto production and then begin planning ahead for the next two productions – the autumn play for 2026, and the panto for February 2027.
The members of CADS thank sincerely all those who attended and supported their latest production, and do hope to give a warm welcome to audience members once again at Cookridge Village Hall in October 2026 for the next play. They also hope to see families return all ready to enjoy another traditional, lively and colourful annual panto in February 2027.
